We can offer appointments for those with private medical insurance and as well as those who wish to self-pay. If you have private medical insurance, we recommend that you contact your provider prior to the appointment to check that you are covered and get an authorisation code.
Following the appointment, you will be invoiced for the visit and for any tests undertaken. Many of our patients wish to have allergy skin prick testing. A consultation fee for this service would be an initial consult with one of our medical team and the cost of skin prick testing.
Our prices will not exceed those stated here.
We are registered provided with all the main private medical insurance companies including BUPA and AXA. We are fee assured with all of them. This means that we have agreed with the insurance companies in advance that our fees will be covered so there should be no excess to pay if you have comprehensive cover. We can invoice most of the major PMI directly following your appointment so that you do not have to get involved in the billing process. However, many policies will have an excess built into the policy so there may be something for you to pay. Check with your provider for more details.
If you have any questions about our fees, please contact us. We will be pleased to provide you with further advice and a written quote.

Sublingual allergen immunotherapy
We offer a comprehensive care package for patients receiving allergen immunity therapy such as treatment for severe hay fever or environmental allergies. We supervise treatment using a range of drops or tablets placed under the tongue. Our comprehensive care package involves all consultant and nursing interactions plus any private prescriptions that are required including prescription and monitoring of the immunotherapy itself.
Immunotherapy appointments are charged at £120 each and include nursing and medical support for your treatment.
You should expect 3-4 appointments per year depending upon treatment and response.
The cost of immunotherapy medication is charged separately to the cost of care
Here are some examples of what you might expect to pay for the medicines correct as of February 2025.
Seasonal allergens such as grass and tree pollen tend to be treated before the onset and through the pollen season whilst other environment allergies such as mites and animal danders will be treated throughout the year.

We would be happy to discuss treatment options with you and make a safety assessment before embarking on oral immunotherapy treatment. We do this as a shared decision-making consultation with complimentary lung function testing. Allergy testing if required is charged separately, we like to have evidence of active peanut allergy within the last six months before starting treatment. A food challenge is not normally required.
